Leederville Hotel Seeks Development Approval

The Leederville Hotel owner/operators submit a development application to improve Leederville’s favourite hospitality destination.

The Leederville Hotel plans for a multi-venue food, drink and entertainment precinct like no other – creating a better ‘every day’ for the people of Leederville.

A new social centre and true community hub for Leederville locals through hospitality, arts, retail and entertainment spaces with something for all demographics and occasions.

In a post COVID-19 world where suburban hubs have the opportunity to play a key role in our everyday lives through new work/life balances, FJM Property is preparing for the future with a new social centre for Leederville and City of Vincent locals through a multi-million dollar re-development of the Leederville Hotel.

Two of Western Australia’s most prominent property identities – Dale Alcock and Adrian Fini, a partner of FJM Property – recently formed an alliance to develop a purpose-built new headquarters for ABN Group behind the existing Leederville Hotel site.

ABN Group will centralise its business into a 9,000 square metre complex on the former Leederville Hotel carpark site, owned by FJM Property which shares a laneway with the Leederville Hotel.

With the welcome addition of ABN Group to the Leederville community, the new development will reposition the existing Leederville Hotel to ensure a new laneway precinct connects with the ABN building.

“The goal is to create the pub of the future offering multiple spaces with differentiation and interconnection” says Mr Fini. “It will have a family-friendly component with provisions for both day and night trade.”

The development will entice the Leederville community with a mixture of food, beverage and retail outlets that allow something to be open day and night. The precinct will provide engaging community spaces, building on some of its current popular attributes for activities (old and young), a well-considered food concept, and entertainment. In doing so it will create multiple laneways for better connectivity, diversity and engagement

The project is due to be completed and re-opened to the public in 2021.
